Leonardo AI is a professional image creation platform with various specialized models for game art, architecture, fashion, and product design. It supports training custom models and producing consistent images.
Choose a Suitable Base Model
Select a model that closely matches the desired art style before starting.
Go to the Image Generation section, browse the Models library, and select a concept art or anime style model as per the project.
View the sample images (preview) of each model before selecting to avoid wasting time on trial and error.
Write a Basic Character Description Prompt
Describe in detail the appearance, clothing, and background of the main character.
Enter a prompt like "female warrior character, silver armor, red hair, fantasy style, dramatic lighting" and press Generate.
Create 4-8 images at a time to have multiple options before finalizing the most preferred version.
Create an Element from the Selected Character
Train a separate Element to maintain the character's appearance for different scenes.
Select the preferred character image, go to Elements > Train New Element, and upload 5-10 variant images of the same character for training.
The more angles of the character in the training data, the better the Element will maintain consistency.
Create Various Scenes with the Same Character
Use the trained Element to place the character in new contexts and poses.
Turn on the created Element in the Elements section of the prompt, describe the new context such as "standing on a mountain, sunset" and Generate.
Adjust the weight of the Element if the character strays too far from the original.
Enhance the Final Resolution
Use the Universal Upscaler to finalize the image at high resolution before delivery.
Select the preferred image, press the Upscale button, choose the appropriate scaling level (2x or 4x), and then download the image.
Save the Element set in a private library for reuse in future projects with the same character.

Pros
Cons
A 3-person indie game studio needs a consistent set of character concept art for a new mobile game but does not have the budget to hire a dedicated concept artist.
Problem
Hiring a freelance concept artist for each character costs $100-200 and takes several days to wait, slowing down game development progress.
Solution
Use Leonardo AI with the Elements feature to create a set of characters that maintain a consistent artistic style throughout the game.
A small fashion design studio needs exclusive fabric patterns for its new collection every season.
Problem
Outsourcing pattern designs from external designers costs $50-80 per sample and limits the number of experiments due to costs.
Solution
Use Leonardo AI to create a variety of patterns and textures themed for the season, then select the most suitable samples for production.
