Flux by Black Forest Labs is a next-generation open-source image generation model with quality competitive to Midjourney. Flux Pro and Ultra offer excellent photorealism, particularly in anatomy and text rendering. Available across multiple platforms.
Choose a Platform to Run Flux
Decide whether to use Flux via API or a third-party application, or self-host through ComfyUI for deeper control.
For beginners, register on a platform that supports Flux, for example via the API of Black Forest Labs or an integrated app, to get started quickly.
Only self-host using ComfyUI if you have your own GPU and need to create large quantities of images frequently.
Build a Detailed Description Prompt
Write a clear prompt about the subject, context, lighting, and desired style.
Write the prompt in the structure: [product subject], [context], [lighting style], [angle], for example: 'blue velvet sofa, placed in a modern living room, afternoon natural light, 3/4 shot angle.'
Flux adheres closely to the prompt's meaning, so the more specific you describe, the closer the result will be to your expectations.
Generate Multiple Variants for Selection
Generate multiple versions of the same prompt to have various options before refining.
Run the same prompt 4-6 times, slightly changing the seed or a few keywords to create diverse variants.
Record the prompt and seed of the images you like to be able to recreate or refine them later.
Refine Details with Inpainting
Edit any unsatisfactory details like logos or proportions using the image area editing tool.
Use the inpainting or img2img feature of the tool you are using to redraw the area that needs correction and enter a supplemental prompt for that area.
Only select the area that needs correction closely to avoid altering any parts of the image that are satisfactory.
Export High-Resolution Images and Store Them
Enhance the final image resolution before using it for marketing publications.
Use the upscale feature available on the platform or a separate upscale tool, export the file in high-quality PNG format.
Save the original images along with the prompts in an organized folder to make it easy to find later when creating new variants.
