Download and Install the Krisp Application

Install the Krisp application on your computer, which operates independently of any calling app.

Download Krisp from krisp.ai, install it and grant microphone/speaker access when prompted.

Grant full system access permissions, for example, System Preferences on Mac, to ensure Krisp operates smoothly.

Configure Krisp Audio Devices

Set Krisp as the default microphone and speaker device to filter audio for all calling applications.

In a calling app like Zoom, Meet, or Teams, go to Settings > Audio, select 'Krisp Microphone' and 'Krisp Speakers' as the default devices.

Double-check the default devices after each operating system update as they may reset to the factory defaults.

Activate Noise Cancellation and Outside Voice Cancellation Features

Enable filters suitable for your work environment.

In the Krisp application, turn on 'Noise Cancellation' for both microphone and speakers, and also enable 'Background Voice Cancellation' if working in a shared space.

Test by recording 30 seconds in a noisy environment to check the filtering effectiveness before an important meeting.

Enable AI Meeting Assistant for Important Meetings

Activate the automatic transcript and summarization feature for meetings that need to document content.

Before the meeting, open Krisp and turn on 'Krisp AI Meeting Assistant' to automatically record the transcript during the call.

After the meeting, go to the Transcripts section to retrieve the summary and action items to send back to stakeholders.
