Create Teacher Account and Classroom

Register a teacher account on Khan Academy and create a virtual classroom for the group of students.

Go to Khan Academy, create a Teacher account, select 'Add a class', name the class, and create a class code for students to join.

Name the class according to the course/term to easily manage when multiple classes are running simultaneously.

Assign Specific Course or Exercises

Select learning content appropriate for the level of the group of students before activating Khanmigo.

Go to the Assign section, select the course or exercises by subject and grade level, then assign it to the entire class.

Start with a narrow topic to easily track effectiveness before expanding to other lessons.

Activate Khanmigo for Students

Turn on the Khanmigo assistant so students can interact while doing assigned exercises.

In the classroom settings, enable the Khanmigo tutor feature for the assigned exercises.

Instruct students on how to ask clear questions to Khanmigo instead of just asking 'what is the answer'.

Monitor Student Conversations

Track the interaction history between students and Khanmigo to identify where students are struggling.

Go to the teacher report section, view the conversation logs and task completion levels of each student.

Pay attention to students who ask the same type of question repeatedly, as this is a sign that direct teacher intervention is needed.

Provide Feedback and Adjust Exercises

Use data from Khanmigo to adjust the teaching content in class.

At the end of each week, review the summary report of common mistakes to adjust the focus of next week’s lessons.

Share progress reports with parents to enhance cooperation in monitoring learning at home.
